ANTIQUE FIGURAL ELEPHANT WOOD LINED ARTS & CRAFTS HAMMERED CIGAR BOX AS FOUND

Here we have a really unique ~ ANTIQUE FIGURAL FOOTED ELEPHANT WOOD LINED CIGAR BOX ~ we just acquired out of an estate. PLEASE UNDERSTAND we are selling it as found as it does have some damage. I see that the lid does have some dents and wear to the bronze patina " especially on the one figural elephant back foot. And finally, I see that two of the little brass edges on the bottom appear missing? it does not affect the structure of the wood lining.  Now, having said that, what a wonderful antique cigar desk box. It is bronze patinated over metal. It has a hammered finish which leads us to believe the Arts & Crafts era of the early 1900's. It measures approximately 8 inches wide by 6 inches deep by about 4 inches tall.
